Become an Educator for Vish

As a Vish Educator, you you will draw upon your knowledge and experience from behind the chair to effectively and enthusiastically show colorists how Vish can eliminate the paper chase and allow them to focus solely on their clients. You are sensitive to colorist concerns and can empathize with them as the transition to Vish. You are thorough, organized, and diligent. Your goal is to stimulate and excite colorists as they transition from pen and paper to a Bluetooth scale and iPad application. Your success will help stylists and salons build a more sustainable career and embrace innovation to build their future in our industry. Enhance your personal brand as an expert salon educator with Vish Color Management Systems.

What will you do?

A Vish Educator is truly the face of Vish. The role has you in salons to onboard Vish salons: set up software; walk colorists through the process; and stay on site to answer questions and be on-site support. Your in-salon presence will provide valuable feedback to help us make Vish better. You are connected to others in the business and eager to spread the word; we will even pay you for referrals. You are a freelancer, maybe a stylist with an interest in diversifying your day-to-day career. You are flexible and can accommodate localized travel.

Vish Educator Requirements

A Vish Educator has used Vish in a salon environment and is both licensed, experienced in color and technical by nature. You love helping others use new software more than you love using it. You like to get involved with staff assignments, curriculum development, solving problems, and other matters.

Experience

  • 5 years in-salon hair colorist experience
  • Excellent technical skills, such as color formulation and hair cutting
  • 3 years as an in-salon educator
  • Ability to present to small groups on technical subjects

Education

  • Certificate/diploma in cosmetology

Skills

  • Tech savvy who can troubleshoot computer systems
  • Knowledgeable about practical color applications.
  • Business savvy and confident discussing profits and pricing.

Extras

  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • Professional image and ability to speak and present.

    Become a Customer Success Coordinator for Vish

    The Customer Success role is integral to maintaining Vish’s client-centric, service-driven focus as we scale to support growing demand.

    As a Customer Success Coordinator, you will manage the customer’s onboarding process and provide customer support to salon owners and their employees. Reporting directly to the Head of Customer Success, you’ll work closely and collaboratively with other departments to ensure we’re able to provide the highest quality support for our clients.

    Role Requirements:

    • Point of contact for our fast growing network of technology enabled hair salons across North America and the globe
    • Help shepherd customers through onboarding, setup and training
    • Leverage the training and support team to knock away problems as they arise while maintaining a collaborative and positive customer relationship
    • Ensure all of onboarding timelines are met and are on track as well as highlighting onboarding concerns as they arise
    • Utilize HubSpot / CRM to track customer data
    • Manage customer support inquiries via email and phone
    • Support the customer success team when necessary

      Join the Inside Sales Team at Vish

      Working remotely, this role will be critical to driving business growth. The successful candidate will be a driven sales hunter, and will manage the sales pipeline from identifying prospects, initial contact to closing deals.

      The Inside Sales Representative will work closely and collaboratively with other departments to ensure we’re able to provide the highest quality service to our new and existing clients.

        As a Full-Stack Developer, you’ll work on everything from customer-facing web and mobile applications using cutting-edge open-source frameworks to highly-available RESTful microservices, to back-end Scala based systems using the latest frameworks and techniques in functional programming.

        In a typical week, you would collaborate with a team of talented engineers to develop innovative solutions to challenging, impactful technical problems. You will help evolve our architecture to consistently improve development efficiency as well as influence the technical direction for the team and the strategic direction of the product.

        You’ll bring solid experience in emerging and traditional technologies such as:
        Java, Angular, React, Nativescript or React Native,, REST, JSON, NoSQL databases, relational databases, iOS, Android, and AWS/Cloud infrastructure to name just a few. We are looking for a candidate with a solid understanding of functional programming, and mastery of at least one server-side stack (preferably Scala-based; we use Play! Framework and http4s).

        Because we’re a functional programming shop, having experience with functional programming languages and frameworks would be a huge asset. We use ZIO, Cats, Doobie, http4s, to name a few. So experience in ZIO, Cats Effect, Monix, or similar would be awesome; but is some of this tech new to you? That’s OK! We know not everyone will come in fully familiar with this stack, and we provide support to learn on the job.

          As the Development Team lead, you will be leading and mentoring our development team to architect, design, and build robust features that directly impact Vish.
