When Andi Ka’ton opened Ka’Ton Salon nine years ago, sustainability was at the forefront. As one of the only clean-air salons in the country, Ka’Ton Salon is organic, chemical-free and cruelty-free. They only stock products with recycle-friendly, minimal packaging, and they take steps to recycle and repurpose all of the waste possible in the salon. Ka’ton believes in maintaining a personal and eco-friendly sustainable stanch with high end finishes and services.

ABOUT HEAD CASE HAIR STUDIO

Head Case has been named in the Top 200 salons for the past two years and continues to win Best Salon in Keller, TX, and Best Salon in Tarrant County year after year. Head Case Hair Studio is also a Certified Green Business with Green America. It continues to find ways to give back by planting trees with One Tree Planted and yearly fundraising for its local Humane Society by giving away free services for dog and cat food donations. We focus on improving the world by encouraging sustainable beauty while giving the best possible experience for our clients and hair family.

Being sustainable has helped create a culture in our salon that allows us to focus on something greater than ourselves. We thrive on being sustainable and could not imagine being any other way.

Flow Salonspa is located in the heart of Historic Downtown Chestertown, across from the beautiful Fountain Park. Our 2,600 square foot building, built in 1909 is a comfortable blend of history and trend. Our mission is to push the boundaries of beauty with our extraordinary products, exceptional service and dedication to our guests’ well-being.

ABOUT KARINE JACKSON SUSTAINABLE HAIR

Karine Jackson has run her eponymous salon in Covent Garden salon for 18 years alongside an active industry presence; in 2017 she was elected President of the Fellowship for British Hairdressing having previously served as Chancellor. Winner of London Hairdresser of the Year in 2007, she has also won the Fellowship Consumer Image of the Year in 2011, Most Wanted Hair Trend in 2015, Colour Expert and Hair Heroine in the Hair Magazine Awards 2018, been shortlisted for Most Wanted Colour Expert three times and in 2009 was shortlisted for Men’s Hairdresser of the year. Passionate about apprenticeships and recruiting young people to the industry as well as organic hairdressing, she has appeared on Woman’s Hour, The One Show and has a regular presence in the press. She was the first London salon to be awarded Certified Sustainable and as a long advocate of organic colouring and hairdressing at her west end salon, Karine has built her business around ethical values without compromising on performance or trend. Her single use plastic-free salon provides a refill service for shampoos and conditioners, offers Vegan refreshments for her clients, and uses Vegan-friendly brands including Organic Colour Systems.

We as humans have been so thoughtless and decadent towards our planet, I ask the question would you treat your home like this. We need to be leaving this planet in a state so our next generations will have the same luxury we have had the privilege of having.
